AI Tools for Gaming
Whilst I used to write quite a few programmes (in Basic, then C++, then Perl, then CSharp then NodeJS) to support my gaming, and make many of them available as freeware, increasingly I'm finding that I can achieve much of the same goals by using LLMs. So this page pulls together the various AI tools I'm developing to support wargaming and SF RPGs, some of which I'll also release for public use.
Wargaming
- Matrix Game Simulation - getting an LLM to play all the roles in a matrix game. Let's you upload a simple scenario document and then watch and interact as the bot plays through it.
- Automated Media Synthetic Wrap - designed to work with any manual wargame (or related game), define a game state format and the chorus of mainstream and social media types you want reporting on it and then each turn upload the game state and the LLM will generate the mainstream and social media coverage of that turn's events for you.
- Russian OPFOR Urban Doctrine Reference - generated by a Claude Bot I'm working on. Trying to work out how to open up the bot publicly the same way as I can a ChatGPT.
